Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with heavy foil or parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, 1/3 cup sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press the crust mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Bake the crust for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
In another bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Stir in the chopped pecans.
Pour the pecan filling over the baked crust and spread evenly.
Bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
Allow to cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing into bars.
