Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans, chopped Ensure they are fresh and toasted for enhanced flavor.
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup nut butter (of your choice) Use a smooth almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter.
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness as desired.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips Add for extra sweetness and texture.
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut Optional for added flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans and rolled oats.
  • In a separate bowl, mix nut butter, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well until coated.
  • If using, fold in chocolate chips or shredded coconut gently.
  • Transfer the mixture to the baking dish, pressing it down firmly.

Setting

  • Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Remove from the dish and cut into bite-sized squares or bars.

Notes
