Preparation

  • Add the rolled oats to a blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until the oats reach a fine powder-like consistency.
  • Add in the peanut butter, ripe banana, and milk. Blend until all ingredients mix well and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  • If you prefer a sweeter taste, include honey or maple syrup. Add the vanilla extract for additional flavor if desired. Blend again until combined.
  • To make a thicker smoothie, add yogurt and blend once more.
  • For a colder consistency, toss in some ice cubes and blend until you achieve your desired texture.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or thickness if needed, then pour it into a glass and enjoy.
