  • 0.5 tsp baking soda Ensure it's fresh

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and packed brown sugar. Beat together until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  • Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let them cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
