Preparation

  • Measure your ingredients and add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract (if using) to a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Microwave the mixture for about one minute, keeping an eye on it to prevent bubbling over.
  • Whisk the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
  • Pour the Cheerios into the bowl and fold the mixture until all cereal is coated.
  • Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture to the pan and press down firmly to create an even layer.
  • Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until set.
  • Remove from the pan and cut into squares.
