Ingredients
  

For the sauce

  • 500 ml double cream/heavy cream Forms the base of your sauce, offering a rich consistency.
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese, freshly grated Adds depth and flavor.
  • to taste Salt Enhances all the flavors in the dish.

For the pasta

  • 400 g Pasta of your choice Choose any pasta variety that you prefer.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
  • Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a separate saucepan, pour in double cream and warm it over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Once warm, remove from heat and whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  • Add salt to taste.

Combining

  • Drain the pasta and add it directly to the sauce.
  • Stir to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually.

Serving

  • Plate the pasta, twirling it into a nest shape on warmed plates, and garnish with extra Parmesan, black pepper, or herbs.

Notes

For variations, consider adding sautéed vegetables, grilled chicken, or shrimp, and serve promptly for the best flavor and texture.
