Ingredients
  

  • 1 can coconut cream (13.5 oz), chilled
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons creamy nut butter

Instructions
 

  • Ensure your ice cream maker's bowl is completely frozen according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a blender, combine coconut cream, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and nut butter. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the blended mixture into the frozen bowl of your ice cream maker.
  • Churn for 20 to 25 minutes until it reaches the consistency of soft serve ice cream.
  • For firmer ice cream, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 2 months. Allow to thaw for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a version without an ice cream maker, blend all ingredients and freeze, stirring every 15 minutes until desired consistency is reached.
