  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries Optional

Preparation

  • Combine the rolled oats, your choice of milk or water, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a slow cooker. Stir gently to ensure well combined.
  • Fold in the diced apples into the oatmeal mixture.
  • If desired, add raisins and dried cranberries for added flavor and sweetness.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours overnight.
  • In the morning, give the oatmeal a good stir. Add a splash of milk if it’s too thick to reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve warm in bowls and customize with toppings like nuts, honey, or additional fruit.

Notes
