Ingredients
  

Pasta and Seafood

  • 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or fully thawed frozen shrimp.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the shrimp.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust quantity for more garlic flavor.
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) For additional spice.
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, then sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  • If using, add red pepper flakes for heat. Stir in the chicken broth and cherry tomatoes, then bring the mixture to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet until well coated with the sauce.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh shrimp. Allow the pasta to rest in the sauce for a few minutes before serving to absorb flavors.
