For the Marinade

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 1 pound chicken tenderloins

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and cayenne pepper to create a marinade.
  • Add the chicken tenderloins to the bowl and toss them until well coated in the marinade.

Cooking

  • Place the marinated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap.
  • Cook the chicken tenders for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should reach 165°F (75°C) to ensure it's fully cooked.
  • Remove the tenders from the air fryer, and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For maximum flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes. Adjust the cooking time if using larger pieces. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
