2largecandy eyesor sliced black olives for decoration
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
In a larger bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, shredded carrot, the remaining Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour half of the ketchup mixture into the meat mixture and stir until evenly mixed.
Shape a small ball from the meat mixture for the mummy’s head and place it on the baking sheet. Form the rest into an oval shape for the body and attach it to the head.
Brush the remaining ketchup mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
For the dough, whisk the egg and cold water together in a small bowl. In a food processor, pulse the flour and salt, then add the cold butter and pulse until crumbly.
Pour in the egg and water mix and pulse until the dough forms a thick ball. Roll out into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
Cut the dough into long strips and arrange them over the meatloaf, crisscrossing to resemble bandages.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the dough is golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the meatloaf cool slightly, then place candy eyes or olive slices on the head.
