  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a microwave-safe mug, add the 4 tablespoons of flour, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Use a fork or small whisk to mix everything together until evenly combined.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Pour in the 3 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (or melted butter), and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth and all the dry ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Optional Add-ins: If you’re feeling extra indulgent, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips into the batter and give it a gentle mix. This will make your cake extra gooey and delicious.
  • Microwave: Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Keep an eye on it as it cooks—it should rise nicely and puff up, but stay moist. If it’s not quite done, add 10-15 seconds at a time.
