Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure that the cocoa powder is evenly distributed throughout the oats.
  • In another bowl, combine brewed coffee, milk, maple syrup or honey, Greek yogurt (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the oats and stir to combine, ensuring all the oats are coated with the liquid.
  • Divide the mixture into mason jars or airtight containers, seal them, and place them in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Top with chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate and your choice of chopped nuts or seeds for added texture.
