Instructions
Season the chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper. Place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
Place the butter on top of the chicken. Add the pepperoncini peppers around the meat.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce before serving.
Notes
This dish is perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta. You can also use leftovers in wraps or sandwiches for a quick next-day meal.
