Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats Uncooked
  • ½ cup almond butter Smooth or crunchy based on preference
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder Any flavor can be used; chocolate or vanilla enhance taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract For mint flavor enhancement
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips For added sweetness and texture
  • Pinch sea salt To enhance overall flavor

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, and sea salt.
  • Add almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and peppermint extract to the dry ingredients.
  • Mix everything together with a spatula or your hands until fully combined.
  • Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the rolled balls on a tray or plate lined with parchment paper.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up before serving.

Notes
