Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
  • In another large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until you can no longer see the flour.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Baking

  • Use a tablespoon to drop small scoops of dough onto the lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
