Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Use room temperature butter for better texture.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg Make sure it's at room temperature.

Chocolate Chips

  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, blend the softened unsalted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg until fully combined.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until no dry flour remains.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop dollops of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the centers look slightly soft.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks.

Notes
