  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder Use high-quality, culinary-grade matcha for best flavor.
  • 1 cup milk of choice Can be dairy or non-dairy.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional for sweetness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Toppings

  • fresh fruits, seeds, nuts, or coconut flakes Customizable to personal preference.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats and matcha powder.
  • Add the milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  • Ensure there are no clumps of matcha powder and the mixture is smooth.
  • Seal the bowl or jar with a lid and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir the oats again and add a splash more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  • Top with your choice of fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, or coconut flakes. Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, sift matcha powder before mixing. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
