  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder for the meatloaf.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup Use some on top for additional flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Enhances the umami flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix everything until well combined, being careful not to overmix to prevent a tough meatloaf.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Optionally, spread extra ketchup on top for added flavor and moisture.

Cooking

  • Bake in your preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
