Ingredients
  

Pasta Base

  • 8 ounces pasta (any shape you prefer)

Salad Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped kale, stems removed
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup croutons Add right before serving for crunch.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded rotisserie chicken (optional) Add for protein.
  • ¼ cup capers (optional) Add for extra flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped kale with a pinch of salt. Massage the kale for a few minutes until tender and slightly wilted.

Mixing

  • Add the cooked pasta to the bowl with the kale. Pour in the Caesar dressing and mix well.
  • Stir in halved cherry tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Fold the ingredients until evenly distributed.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Fold in chicken or capers if using.

Serving

  • Allow the salad to sit for about 10 minutes before serving to meld flavors.

Notes

For best results, use al dente pasta, high-quality Caesar dressing, and add croutons just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container, separating croutons if added.
