Ingredients
  

Brats and Sides

  • 4-6 pieces fresh brats (your choice of flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for extra crispiness) Use if preferred.
  • 1 medium onion, sliced (optional)
  • 1 piece bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Your favorite buns or rolls for serving
  • as preferred Mustard, sauerkraut, or other toppings of choice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the brats into a mixing bowl.
  • If using olive oil, drizzle it over the brats and toss to coat evenly.
  • Season the brats with salt and pepper. If desired, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Toss again.

Cooking

  • Arrange the brats in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the brats for 9-12 minutes, turning halfway through for even browning.
  • Ensure the internal temperature of the brats reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • If using onions and peppers, add them to the air fryer for the last 4-5 minutes.

Serving

  • Place the cooked brats on buns or rolls, adding cheese if desired.
  • Top with mustard, sauerkraut, or other toppings according to preference.
  • Serve with sides like chips, potato salad, or coleslaw.
