Instructions
Prepare pancake batter according to package instructions or your homemade recipe.
Remove about one-fifth of the batter and place it in a small bowl for the green stem.
Add orange food coloring to the remaining batter until you achieve a vibrant shade.
Add green food coloring to the small bowl of batter until it turns green.
Transfer green batter into a plastic sandwich bag and snip off a corner for piping.
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray.
Ladle about 1/3 cup of orange batter into the skillet. Use the green batter to pipe a small stem on top.
Wait for bubbles to form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip the pancake and cook for another 15 seconds.
Transfer pancakes to a plate and repeat with remaining batter.
Serve warm, allowing everyone to decorate with chocolate chips to create faces.
