  • 1 loaf Focaccia bread Freshly baked for the best texture
  • 8 oz Sliced turkey breast Adjust amount based on preference
  • 8 oz Fresh mozzarella cheese For even coverage
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, sliced Adds juiciness to the sandwich
  • 1 cup Fresh basil leaves For aroma and flavor
  • 1 cup Arugula or spinach Adds crunch

Condiments

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For drizzling on bread

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the focaccia bread horizontally, creating two even halves.
  • Drizzle a light amount of olive oil on the cut side of the focaccia.
  • Layer the turkey breast evenly across the bottom half of the focaccia.
  • Place slices of fresh mozzarella cheese on top of the turkey.
  • Add sliced tomatoes evenly on top of the mozzarella.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the tomatoes.
  • Add a layer of fresh basil leaves.
  • Top with arugula or spinach.
  • Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the greens.
  • Place the top half of the focaccia on the sandwich and gently press down.
  • Slice into individual servings.
