Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced onions and cook, stirring often, until caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Drain excess fat, then stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Toast hamburger buns until golden and slightly crispy.
Scoop the beef mixture onto the bottom half of each bun and top with shredded Swiss cheese.
Place the top bun over each sandwich and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
