Ingredients
  

For the salmon glaze

  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce

For the main dish

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets (fresh or thawed) Choose fresh salmon for the best results.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking, avoid overheating.
  • 1 cup Cooked rice (white or brown) Can be pre-cooked for convenience.
  • 1 cup Steamed broccoli Adds vibrant color and nutrients.
  • to taste Sesame seeds for garnish Optional, for added texture and flavor.
  • to taste Green onions for garnish Optional, for a fresh touch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, sriracha sauce, and soy sauce until well combined to create the glaze.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil, ensuring it heats but does not smoke.

Cooking the Salmon

  • Place salmon fillets skin-side down into the skillet and let cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes to develop a crispy exterior.
  • Gently flip the salmon fillets using a spatula and brush the honey sriracha glaze generously over the top.
  • Cook the salmon for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through and the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Assembly

  • In each bowl, place a bed of cooked rice, followed by a salmon fillet and a portion of steamed broccoli.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions.
