  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup Use to adjust sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro Optional.

Preparation

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.
  • Whisk the mixture until fully combined. Ensure the honey is well dissolved.
  • Add chili garlic sauce according to your spice preference.
  • Stir in the fresh lime juice and minced cilantro, mixing until well incorporated.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust any ingredient as needed.
  • Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the mixture.
  • Allow the sauce to sit for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.
