plus ingredients from box instructions (water, oil, eggs)

powdered sugar

unsalted butter
softened

cocoa powder

milk or heavy cream

teaspoon
vanilla extract
as needed
black gel food coloring
for frosting
as needed
eyeball candies
for decoration
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the box instructions.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake according to the box instructions, typically 25-30 minutes.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before removing from the dish.
In a mixing bowl, beat together softened butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, salt, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add black gel food coloring to the frosting until you achieve the desired color.
Transfer the frosting to a piping bag and decorate the cooled brownies to resemble spell books.
Add eyeball candies on top for decoration.
Serve at your Halloween gathering and enjoy!
