Instructions
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Introduce ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).
Pour in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.
Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
