  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) for flavor enhancement

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the sliced apples with lemon juice and cinnamon until thoroughly coated.
  • Spread the apple mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flour, chopped nuts, protein powder, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are well mixed and crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples evenly, covering them completely.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
