Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored) Choose full-fat or low-fat based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust based on sweetness of yogurt if flavored.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) Adds flavor if desired.
  • 1/4 cup fresh fruit puree or chopped fruit Use strawberries, mango, or blueberries.
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
  • If using fresh fruit puree, fold it into the yogurt mixture. For chopped fruit, gently mix in at this stage.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer instructions until creamy, usually about 20-25 minutes.

Serving

  • Enjoy immediately for a soft-serve texture or transfer to a container with a lid and freeze for 2-3 hours for a firmer texture.
  • Allow the yogurt to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before scooping to soften slightly.
