  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Use high-quality Greek yogurt for best taste.
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice Freshly squeezed is recommended.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Can be roasted for added sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste Salt, to taste Adjust as needed.
  • optional Fresh cilantro, chopped Optional for garnish.
  • optional Jalapeño, diced Optional for added heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt.
  • Squeeze in the fresh lime juice.
  • Add the minced garlic.
  • Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Mix everything together until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the salt as desired.
  • If you like heat, stir in diced jalapeño to your preference.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until you're ready to use it.
