Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

For the Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt The creamy base of the sauce, full of probiotics.
  • 1/2 cup grated cucumber Excess water squeezed out for freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For a zesty kick.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped Complements the yogurt with its distinct flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  • Add the egg and mix until well incorporated.
  • Scoop portions of mixture and roll into 1-inch meatballs, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs for browning.

Cooking

  • Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the meatballs bake, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, mint, garlic, and salt in a bowl. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Once meatballs are done, let them cool slightly before serving. Serve with tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Freeze for up to three months without tzatziki sauce.
