Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter divided
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • as needed black gel food coloring for frosting
  • as needed Halloween sprinkles and eyeball candies for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix brownie mix according to box instructions (add water, oil, eggs).
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow brownies to cool completely, then lift them from the dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together remaining butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, salt, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Divide frosting into three bowls; color each with gel food coloring (black, orange, purple).
  • Decorate the cooled brownies with colored frosting using a piping bag.
  • Add eyeball candies on top for decoration.
  • Serve at your Halloween gathering and enjoy!
