Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Use plain Greek yogurt for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin olive oil is preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice recommended.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground is best.

Main Ingredient

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts

Preparation

  • Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth and well blended.
  • Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top.
  • Ensure each chicken piece is well coated, then seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4 to 6 hours or overnight.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off.
  • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
