Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 envelope grape Kool-aid (0.14 oz)
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, grape Kool-aid powder, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • If you prefer soft-serve, serve immediately. For firmer ice cream, transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours.
