Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, grape Kool-aid powder, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for about 20 to 30 minutes.
If you prefer soft-serve, serve immediately. For firmer ice cream, transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours.
