Instructions
 

Baking Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Mixing the Dough

  • Cream together the softened salted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing on low speed until combined. Avoid over-mixing.
  • Gently fold in Ghirardelli chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking the Cookies

  • Use a cookie scoop to drop balls of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown and centers look slightly underbaked.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire cooling rack.
