Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Generously season the skirt steak with salt on both sides.
  • Add butter to the preheated skillet and let it melt completely.
  • Add minced garlic and stir gently for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Cook the seasoned skirt steak for approximately 3-4 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the steak and cook the other side for the same amount of time.
  • Check the internal temperature for medium-rare (130°F or 54°C).
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  • Slice the steak thinly against the grain and serve with the garlic butter sauce.
