Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can 15 oz chili (with or without beans)
  • 1 block 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for smooth mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese Feel free to experiment with different cheese types.
  • 1 bag Fritos Original Corn Chips For serving.

Optional Garnishes

  • to taste sliced green onions
  • to taste diced tomatoes
  • to taste sour cream
  • to taste fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the cream cheese into small cubes and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Pour the canned chili over the cream cheese cubes.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the chili.

Cooking

  • Heat in the microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through, until melted.
  • Alternatively, cook in a slow cooker on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • For oven cooking, bake at 350°F for around 20 minutes until bubbly.

Serving

  • Stir until smooth and fully combined.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and surround with Fritos.
  • Top with optional garnishes as desired.

Notes
