Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries diced
  • 4 slices Bread
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the diced strawberries to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread. Top with the remaining slices to form sandwiches.
  • Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  • Dredge each sandwich in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry each sandwich for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.

Notes
