Ingredients
  

  • 1 block feta cheese 200g
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 250 g pasta penne or fusilli
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the block of feta in the center of a baking dish and surround it with cherry tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle minced garlic over the tomatoes and cheese. Drizzle olive oil evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta is golden and soft.
  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  • Remove baking dish from oven and mash feta and tomatoes into a creamy sauce.
  • Add pasta and reserved water. Stir until coated.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

Use authentic Greek feta for best melting. Add veggies or protein for variations.
