feta cheese

cherry tomatoes

olive oil

pasta
penne or fusilli

fresh basil leaves

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the block of feta in the center of a baking dish and surround it with cherry tomatoes.
Sprinkle minced garlic over the tomatoes and cheese. Drizzle olive oil evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta is golden and soft.
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
Remove baking dish from oven and mash feta and tomatoes into a creamy sauce.
Add pasta and reserved water. Stir until coated.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
Notes
Use authentic Greek feta for best melting. Add veggies or protein for variations.
