  • 15 Raw Almonds
  • 1 box Fudge Marshmallow Cookies Also known as pinwheels
  • 15 Wafer Rolls
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons Water For glaze

Instructions
 

  • Boil a small pot of water and add the raw almonds. Cook for exactly one minute, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  • Pat the almonds dry and gently remove the skins. Set aside to dry completely.
  • Fit the wafer rolls into the holes of the fudge marshmallow cookies, chocolate side down.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and water to create a smooth glaze.
  • Use the glaze to secure the wafer rolls in place and coat the tops generously, letting it drip down the sides.
  • Place the blanched almonds on top of each glazed wafer roll to mimic candle flames.
  • Store the candles in a cool place or refrigerate until ready to serve.
