Instructions
Boil a small pot of water and add the raw almonds. Cook for exactly one minute, then drain and rinse under cold water.
Pat the almonds dry and gently remove the skins. Set aside to dry completely.
Fit the wafer rolls into the holes of the fudge marshmallow cookies, chocolate side down.
In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and water to create a smooth glaze.
Use the glaze to secure the wafer rolls in place and coat the tops generously, letting it drip down the sides.
Place the blanched almonds on top of each glazed wafer roll to mimic candle flames.
Store the candles in a cool place or refrigerate until ready to serve.
