  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil.
  • Once boiling, remove the pot from heat.
  • Add the tea bags to the hot water and let them steep for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags from the pot.
  • Stir in the granulated sugar until fully dissolved.
  • Taste and adjust the sweetness if necessary.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before transferring it to a pitcher.
  • Refrigerate the tea until it is nice and chilled.

Serving

  • Serve over ice, garnishing with lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
