  • 1 each egg, beaten For egg wash
  • to taste sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning Optional, for topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until the mixture forms a dough.
  • Lightly flour a surface and roll the dough into a log shape. Divide it into equal portions (about 6-8) for bagels.
  • Shape each portion into a bagel by forming a circle with a hole in the middle, ensuring the hole is large enough to prevent closing during baking.
  • Place the formed bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Brush them lightly with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or bagel seasoning on top if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  • Remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes
