Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
With 3 minutes left on the pasta, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
Drain the pasta and broccoli together, then set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Toss to combine.
Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Toss again to ensure everything is evenly coated.
Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
