Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs Bone-in thighs are recommended for juiciness
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup You can use a low-fat version if desired
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For added flavor
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Feel free to customize with other spices

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the crockpot, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  • In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup with chicken broth.
  • Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken thighs in the crockpot, making sure each piece is fully coated.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Once done, remove the lid and enjoy the rich, creamy gravy formed around the chicken.

Notes

For thicker gravy, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Trim excess fat from chicken thighs before cooking for a leaner dish.
