  • 2 cups cooked rice Use any type of cooked rice you prefer.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh broccoli is recommended.
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, diced Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier option.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add more cheese for extra creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup milk Can adjust for creamier texture.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Ensure the crockpot is clean and ready for use.
  • Add the diced chicken to the crockpot.
  • Layer in the cooked rice and broccoli florets.
  • Pour the cream of chicken soup over the ingredients.
  • Gently stir until the mixture is well-combined.

Cooking

  • Pour in the milk and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Stir gently.
  • Set the crockpot to low for 6 to 8 hours, or high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Serving

  • Once cooked, give a final stir before plating and serve.
  • Optional: Garnish with additional cheese or fresh herbs.
