Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened) Make sure it is at room temperature.
  • 3 pieces eggs (at room temperature) Helps in blending with other ingredients.
  • 14.25 ounces white cake mix Use your favorite brand.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil For moisture.
  • 1/3 cup red and green jimmies sprinkles For festive color.
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (whisked or sifted) For the glaze.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
  • 4-6 tablespoons heavy cream (or milk) To achieve your desired glaze consistency.
  • 1-2 pinches salt Enhances flavors in the bread and glaze.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Spray two 8×4 inch loaf pans generously with baking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, beat together the softened cream cheese and eggs until fully combined.
  • Add the dry cake mix and vegetable oil, mixing on low speed for about 30 seconds, then increase to medium-high and beat for 2 more minutes until smooth.
  • Fold in the red and green jimmies sprinkles gently.
  • Divide the batter between the two prepared loaf pans, smoothing the tops.

Baking

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Glazing

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine sifted powdered sugar, vanilla extract, 4 tablespoons of heavy cream (or milk), and a pinch or two of salt. Whisk until smooth.
  • If the glaze is too thick, add more cream to adjust the consistency.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaves and let it set for about 10-15 minutes.

Notes
