Ingredients
  

For the Cookies

  • 1 cup dairy-free butter Choose high-quality dairy-free butter.
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed for better sweetness and texture.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute for gluten-free flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup almond milk Can substitute with any dairy-free milk.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine dairy-free butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream together until smooth and fluffy.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips.
  • Drop balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space for spreading.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers appear slightly undercooked.
  • Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
