Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey Can use fresh or thawed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans Drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans Drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes Do not drain
  • 1 cup corn Frozen or canned, drained if canned
  • 1 onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients for easier cooking.
  • Crumble the ground turkey into the crockpot.
  • Add the drained and rinsed black and kidney beans.
  • Stir in the can of diced tomatoes without draining.
  • If using frozen corn, pour it in. If using canned corn, drain it first.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  • Sprinkle in chili powder and cumin, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine.
  • Cover the crockpot with its lid.

Cooking

  • Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 4 hours.
  • Once cooked, serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider browning the meat first. It can be served with toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to four days, or frozen for longer storage.
