Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Use fresh, high-quality beef for the best flavor.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Contains a mix of spices such as cumin, chili powder, and garlic.
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes Add with juices for moisture.
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • In a slow cooker, add the ground beef.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef.
  • Add diced onion and bell pepper to the slow cooker.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes and beef broth.
  • Stir to combine all ingredients well.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on high for about 4 hours, or on low for 7 to 8 hours.
  • Once cooking time is complete, use a fork to shred the beef in the slow cooker.

Serving

  • Prepare taco shells or tortillas.
  • Spoon taco meat into each shell and add toppings accordingly.

Notes
